Tomorrow, Friday January 22nd, listeners can meet the Nova 969’s new breakfast team, Merrick Watts, Scott Dooley and Ricki-Lee Coulter, between 6am-9am at their first outside broadcast as a team. They will also reveal the winner of their Chosen One competition at the OB

Merrick, Dools & Ricki-Lee will be giving away US$20,000 during the OB in The Piazza at Castle Towers shopping centre in Castle Hill.

They have lined up a stack of special guests and there will be free brekky and coffee during the show as well as a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes, including a $1,000 Castle Towers shopping spree, a Fitness First Membership and an Event Cinemas 12-month pass.

They will be revealing The Chosen One and winner of US$20,000.

The prize will be in a glass safe, in a glass room located in the Piazza at Castle Towers and will be unlocked at 8am during the live broadcast by The Chosen One.

The five finalists, who have been selected after a two-week online application period, in the glass box will have no access to the outside world and will be given only 24-hours to decide unanimously who out of the five will be The Chosen One and win the cash. Crowds will be able to gather around and watch the deliberation for the whole 24-hour period leading up to the prize draw.

The twist is, if a decision can’t be made then no-one in the box will win, and the first caller through on 13 24 10 will be crowned The Chosen One and become US$20,000 richer.
