Melbourne Community station 3Triple R has bought a building in Nicholson Street Brunswick as its new home.

The station’s lease at its former location has run out and buying a permanent site seemed better than renting other premises without long term guarantees of tenure.

While the station is now carrying a large mortgage, the new location is expected to bring greater accessibility, better opportunities and improved facilities.

Triple R held a radiothon earlier in the year to raise funds for the move.
