100.9fm Country hit the Perth airwaves last week providing country music fans with a 24 hour Country Music format.

100.9fm Country’s Murray Dickson says: “Not only the best in Country Music, 100.9fm Country will also have a line up of top presenters playing Country Music, the way it ought to be
heard, in full stereo.”

Western Australian owned and operated, 100.9fm Country will be the only radio station in Perth playing Country Music and giving local Country Music performers a chance to air their talents.

One of the first
Promotions on the agenda for the station is a talent search to be conducted at Perth’s Hyde Park Hotel over a period of six weeks.
The winner will be invited to take part in a recording session with “The Magnificent Seven.”

Other features on 100.9fm Country will be a weekly Country Music Count Down, the Saturday Night Country Muster and the launch of the
100.9fm Country Club, which will provide members with discounts from station sponsors, special competitions and opportunities to co-host a show.

The line-up on 100.9fm Country will be headed by Perth radio identities including Peter Rowe (breakfast); Tina-Louise “Pantelis” (mid Morning); Bevan Rankins (afternoons) and Michael Narrier (Drive).
