The ABA has allocated new community radio licences for Armadale and Wanneroo in Western Australia.

The licence for Armadale was allocated to Heritage FM Inc to serve the general community and will be heard on FM 107.3, beginning 1 March 2003.

The licence for Wanneroo was allocated to Wanneroo Joondalup Regional Broadcasting Association Inc to serve the general community on FM 89.7 MHz and will begin on 1 November 2002

The ABA has also allocated a new community radio licence for Port Adelaide in South Australia to Way Out West Broadcasters Inc to serve the general community. It will be heard on FM 100.5 and will begin on 1 November 2002.
