New community licences for Northern NSW

The ABA has allocated new community radio licences for Casino, Coraki and Nimbin in northern New South Wales.

The Casino licence was allocated to Casino’s Own Wireless Association Inc (COW) to serve the general community on FM 107.9.

The Coraki licence was allocated to Community Radio Coraki Association Inc on FM 88.9.

The Nimbin licence was allocated to Nimbin Independent Media Inc on FM 102.

All three permanent licences will commence on 1 July, following on from their existing temporary community broadcasting licences.
