New breakfast line-up for Hit104.9

Riley-Rose Harper (pictured) will be joined by Seamus Evans on The Border’s Hit 104.9.

Born and bred in Corryong, Riley-Rose got her start in radio with Southern Cross Austereo’s ‘Media Careers Bootcamp’ in 2013. Riley-Rose has truly followed her dreams. In three short years, Riley-Rose has gone from Promotions Assistant to playing Hits and Old School during the workday, to now moving into breakfast.

Riley-Rose Harper says “Hit104.9 feels like home. I grew up with this station and this is an absolute dream come true to host breakfast! I’m definitely going to have to up my coffee intake to handle the early starts but it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

After spending the better half of a decade hosting kid’s TV shows, Seamus Evans is no stranger to putting himself out there Seamus says “I’ve been doused in slime, drank fish, yoghurt and cheese milkshakes and explored Australian Wildlife! I decided to take a leap of faith and jump head first into radio. I’ve been having an absolute blast – radio is so much fun! It’s honestly a dream come true to move to The Border and host breakfast on Hit104.9.”

Seamus adds “So far radio has taught me two things – you never know what day it is, and you’re always tired!”

Hit104.9 Content Director, Brendan Englebrecht says ‘Riley-Rose & Seamus’ is a new chapter for the recently rebranded Hit104.9. “I can’t wait for the guys to show The Border what they have got! Both bring such a broad range of life experiences and ideas. I have no doubt The Border will fall in love with Riley-Rose and Seamus.”

‘Riley-Rose & Seamus’ start 6am on Monday 6th February 2017 on Hit104.9
