Motion pictures on the radio

During the last survey period, AirCheck Australia has assembled data on the top 20 most advertised films across the radio network.

Real-life love story ‘The Big Sick’, written by Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani, was the most advertised movie with 770 spots aired across 10 stations. 4KQ aired the most spots, with 180 instances played during this time period. 

The second most advertised movie was biographical crime film ‘American Made’, starring Tom Cruise, with 473 spots aired across 17 stations, with 54, 53 & 52 commercials on 4MMM, 2MMM & 3MMM respectively.

‘The LEGO Ninjago Movie’ came in fourth with 210 instances, just in time for school holidays, with 49 spots placed on Hit104.1 2DayFM. Collectively, Roadshow Films Pty Ltd was the most represented advertiser with a total of 1446 spots. Universal Pictures (Australasia) Pty Ltd was close behind with a total of 1100 ads.
