More good revenue news for regional radio

With the advertising industry enjoying better times recently, Regional Radio appears to have been discovered as one of the media opportunities of 2003. Regional Radio gives advertisers access to large audiences in an uncluttered media environment.

Regional Radio Bureau CEO Mary Martin indicated the 15.8% revenue growth that The Regional Radio Bureau enjoyed in September, 2003, was consistent with the overall growth this year and demand is up with many markets, particularly those like the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Geelong and Gosford being recognised as “prime media inventory.”

“It is an exciting time for Regional Radio. Strong growth and a greater profile amongst agencies, coupled with greater opportunities and the launch of new stations, have all helped in placing regional radio on the radar for National Advertisers and their agencies.”

The Regional Radio Bureau has worked hard at developing initiatives with the advertising industry to make it easier to buy Regional Radio through one point of contact. This gives RRB a unique position in the market, an advantage that has been embraced and is delivering returns for advertisers well ahead of traditional expectations.

The 6.2 Million listeners accessible to advertisers through Regional Radio Stations are now seen as an opportunity that can give a better return on investment.
