Michael Anderson to quit Mediaworks

Mediaworks Chief executive Michael Anderson has announced that he will leave the company at the end of this year.

After four years in the job, Anderson says that the time is right for him to step down Fast forward to now and we have welcomed QMS into our family and alongside our Radio business, they have come together into one building that allows collaboration across our brands. Radio is performing well, recently delivering its strongest GFK survey result in MediaWorks history and TV has consistently improved in both revenue and ratings since 2016.

”Things are also looking positive for the sale of TV and we hope to make an announcement in the coming weeks. And finally, we have worked hard to navigate the impacts of Covid-19 and our company is well positioned to deliver a sustainable and profitable future.”

In May Mediaworks announced 130 jobs would be cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic
