Melanie Withnall appointed CBAA Vice President

2SER FM Managing Director Melanie Withnall has been appointed to the position of CBAA Vice President, filling the vacancy left on the board when Philip Randall was elected Chairman at the association’s recent AGM.

Withnall has been a board member and CBAA Financial Director for several years and her promotion to Vice President leaves another vacant position on the board.

The CBAA is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in joining the Board to fill that casual vacancy until the next CBAA AGM in November 2016, at which time the appointed Board member will be eligible to stand for election.

The CBAA wants “an experienced director with specialised skills that support the strategic goals of the CBAA,” to fill the vacancy.

Expressions of Interest are particularly encouraged from people (to fill skills or diversity gaps):

  • From a regional or rural location;
  • From an Indigenous background
  • From a non-English speaking background
  • With accountancy qualifications
  • With legal qualifications
  • With experience with dynamics of fundraising
