Mary Collier leaves 4BC Breakfast

Another change at Fairfax Radio’s 4BC with the news that Mary Collier will not be back as the station’s breakfast co-host in 2014.
 
Mary has been a part of 4BC breakfast since 2011, originally working with Peter Dick, but more recently with Kim Mothershaw and Ian Skippen who have been filling in after Dick left due to an illness, ealier this year.
 
In a media release, Mary Collier said “I’ve adored everything about my three years as 4BC Breakfast co-host, give or take the 3am alarm, but what I will never forget is the warmth, intelligence, humour and generosity of 4BC listeners”.
 
Fairfax Brisbane General Manager Anthony Frangi thanked Mary for her commitment to 4BC and it’s listeners saying “Mary embraced her radio career with great passion and I’m sure this will continue in her future endeavours”.
 
4BC will announce a replacement for Mary as a part of it’s new line up for next year.
 
It will be very much a new look 4BC in 2014, with a new Breakfast show, Patrick Condren replacing Greg Cary in Mornings and Ben Davis taking over from Gary Hardgrave in Drive.
