Mark & Caroline Steps for STEPS Charity Walk

Steps for STEPS presented by the Sunshine Coast’s 92.7 MIX FM is raising money and awareness for young people with disabilities and autism at STEPS Pathways College.

STEPS Pathways College is a first of its kind day, online, and boarding College for young people with a disability and autism across Australia.

Twelve of the College’s students will be walking the twenty-kilometre distance between the 92.7 MIX FM radio station and STEPS Pathways College, to help raise money to support more students to undertake the life-changing experience of the College.

The students will be joined by the breakfast duo Mark & Caroline, who will walk alongside the students stopping in at businesses along the way to say hello and broadcasting the morning show live between 6 – 9am.

Together, the team will walk up Aerodrome Road in Maroochydore, along the Nicklin Way through Kawana and Currimundi, before finally arriving at the College around midday.

Caroline Hutchinson said, “Mark and I are so excited to be part of Steps for STEPS (and not just because it is such a great name for a promo!). We believe that every person deserves to live a life of their own design, to live independently and be in control of their own future.’

Mark Darin said, “We have already raised lots of money, but we hope to raise more on the day. We’ll be on the road with a massive bucket and an EFTPOS machine, feel free to say g’day and throw some cash in the tin (if you can keep up with our blistering pace!)”.
