Macca “on the road” in Sydney for Australia Day

The ABC’s brand new “On The Road travelling show” will make an appearance at this
year’s Australia Day celebrations in Hyde Park Sydney, along with Ian McNamara and
a live broadcast of his program “Australia All Over”.

Macca will broadcast live from Hyde Park on Sunday 26 January between 5.30am and 10am.

Listeners can bring along picnic rugs and be part of the early morning broadcast. After the broadcast, visitors to Hyde Park will be able to experience “the many
fascinating elements of the ABC all in the one bright big interactive package
that is the ABC’s “On The Road show.”

The On The Road show will be stationed opposite St Mary’s Cathedral in College
St. Visitors stepping inside the show will be able to interact
with ABC TV, ABC Online, ABC Digital and ABC Radio.
