Logan Corp seeks compensation from WorldAudio

Court action will continue this year between World Audio and Graeme Logan.

In a summons and statement of claim Logan is seeking an order that the contracts, arrangements, or conditions between the applicants and the respondents … are unfair contracts within the meaning of sections 105 and 106 of the Industrial Relations Act (NSW) 1996.

Logan Corp is seeking amendments so the company can get “compensation for giving up rights in respect of a pre-existing agreement with WorldAudio Communications Pty Ltd” and is asking for a payment of $200,000 as “compensation for the Consultant and Logan Partners Corporation Pty Ltd giving up all rights that they have in respect of pre-existing agreements with WorldAudio Communications.”

The case will be heard in the first quarter this year.

WorldAudio told radioinfo: “The company will vigorously defend these claims, which we believe are totally without merit.”
