Local musicians showcased in online iso-Sunday sessions

With the country in lockdown, the live music scene has been impacted with musicians unable to perform at clubs, pubs and other venues, so Jayce Flaxman, a 2019 AFTRS graduate has produced an online concert series in his hometown.

With the support of NSW Southern Highlands community broadcaster, Highland FM 107.1, Iso-Sunday Sessions will not only allow Highlands residents to re-connect with their favourite local performers, but will expose an amazing array of talent to the entire country.

Producer Jayce Flaxman says, “I was missing our local muso’s so much, and I knew I wasn’t the only one, so I got the ball rolling and now I’ve brought them all to one place, YOUR PLACE!”
“Local artists performing from their lounge room to yours is the tagline for Iso- Sundays”

There will also be an inclusion of established stars, the likes of John Waters and Steve Kilby (The Church) already confirmed.

Station Manager Adam Stokeld says “This is great for the Highlands, we are proud to be a community radio station and getting behind local artists. It’s an excellent initiative”
