Ground-breaking computer technology helps bring listeners the most comprehensive and accurate coverage of the AFL.
Known as The Rocket, it’s so good – all the coaches are using it. From the number of disposals to time in opposition’s half, The Rocket provides unrivalled, real-time access to every match statistic possible.
The new upgraded version will, for the first time ever, now also track ‘pressure’ data for teams and players.
3AW 693 General Manager, Shane Healy, said that The Rocket was an invaluable tool last season, and it promises to be even better this year, “We’re the only commentary team to tap into this ground-breaking technology.”
3AW 693’s coverage of the 2013 AFL season will officially kick off on Friday evening with Adelaide going head to head with Essendon at AAMI Stadium. This year the commentary team will be joined by former Geelong Cats and Premiership captain Cameron Ling and Adelaide going head to head with Essendon at AAMI Stadium.
