That bastion of accurate and truthful celebrity reporting, New Idea followed closely by News Corps’ Confidential reports that Kyle Sandilands will be “dead in six months.” The prognosis comes from a doctor from New York who admits to having never met Kyle, yet was somehow able to make a psychic examination from afar.

Obviously this revelation was quite a worry to all concerned given Kyle has over two years left on his contract. So, this morning on KIIS 1065, Kyle’s co-host Jackie went straight to the source of the claims in an interview with Dr Edward Jackowski.

Dr  Jackowski is a US Doctor who specialises in fitness and regularly speaks to celebrity magazines around the world on what stars should do to improve their fitness.

Admitting he’d never met Kyle, Dr Jacowski also claims that he never made the statement to New Idea that Kyle would only have 6 months to live.

As it so happens, Kyle was off crook again today with a hernia prompting this statement from ARN: “Kyle is away sick today. All at KIIS wish him well and we’re looking forward to him being back on deck as soon as he has recovered. We continue to deliver an entertaining show for listeners and today Jackie was joined by Redfoo, Tim Dormer and all-new interviews with guests Samantha Armytage, Guy Pearce, Brit pop star Ella Henderson and, of course, New Idea’s Dr Edward Jackowski”.
