KIISing @justinbieber on #BieberIsland

The switchboard at ARN’s North Ryde headquarters went into meltdown when it was announced that Justin Bieber will be doing an exclusive concert for KIIS106.5 listeners at the end of this month.

KIIS, together with iHeartRadio Australia powered by Optus, are giving listeners the chance to win tickets to a special iHeartRadio LIVE performance on Wednesday September 30.

Bieber will be back in Australia to support his brand new single What Do You Mean? released off the back of his MTV VMA’s performance last week.

He will perform live from Sydney Harbour’s #BIEBERISLAND at a very special KIIS presents iHeartRadio LIVE powered by Optus event. The only way to see the show live is to win your way in. KIIS will reveal more details next week.

This event is part of the hugely successful iHeartRadio LIVE series which gives audiences more of the music they love, with “unrivalled access to live events and exclusive artist experiences.”

As well as the Bieber event, iHeartRadio Australia will stage the country’s largest live music event series with 14 iHeartRadio Live events set to be held over the next 12 months.

iHeartRadio Australia’s Content Director Brett ‘Nozz’ Nossiter is excited to announce this next phase expanding iHeartRadio Australia’s listener experience:

Justin’s new single “What Do You Mean” was an iHeartRadio World Premiere on its 850+ stations across the U.S. and took over the #1 spot at iTunes within nanoseconds of its global release across all retail platforms. The arrival of “What Do You Mean” caps a hugely successful viral 30 day Instagram countdown and Twitter lyric reveal campaign, garnering well over a 100 million impressions.

The Canadian pop super star will be heading to Australia, visiting both Melbourne and Sydney from September 27 to September 30.

“What Do You Mean” is the first advance track from his eagerly awaited fourth studio album, which will be released on November 13 through RBMG / DEF JAM RECORDINGS. The pre-order is available now for signed CDs, vinyl and other limited edition items, exclusively via Bieber’s new online store.

“It’s been an amazing journey to write, record and deliver this record to my fans. I’m so glad people have participated in it, and I hope they are receptive to it and love it as much as I do. This is only the first step in the journey for me. This album is so personal to me, there’s so much of my heart and soul in it, and I can’t wait to bring my fans along for the ride,”
said Bieber.

In Melbourne, Bieber will perform for SCA’s Hit Network on the Fox FM World Famous Rooftop.
