$30,000 given away in yesterday’s radio comps. 

Yesterday was a big day for ARN radio giveaways in Melbourne with KIIS 101.1’s $20,000 Birthday Balls going off twice in one day, and GOLD104.3 also giving away $10,000 for its $10K No Repeat Workday competition.
 
The day started off with a bang when KIIS 101.1’s Jase & PJ spoke to listener Gemma who told the radio duo she needed to put money aside after finding out yesterday she needed to get braces.
 
Despite the date already being called out weeks ago, Gemma put her hopes in the date of August 8 for a chance at the $20,000.
 
To Gemma’s surprise her date-of-birth was called out, and she took home the cash. 
 
But KIIS 101.1 wasn’t finished with the giveaways, and at 2pm listener Chelsea called through to Joel Gelding, scoring another $20,000.

Meanwhile, GOLD104.3’s The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show spoke to listener Michelle this morning who heard Rick Springfield’s Jessie’s Girl play twice in a row and as the first person through, she took home $10,000 as part of GOLD104.3’s $10K No Repeat Workday.
