Kellie Riordan launches an independent audio consultancy

The founding commissioning editor of the ABC’s podcast unit, which now attracts millions of downloads each month, has launched a new independent audio consultancy, Deadset Studios.

Kellie Riordan, lead creator of Australia’s top podcasts including Conversations, Ladies We Need To Talk, comedy hit Judith Lucy Overwhelmed and Dying, and true crime smash Unravel: Snowball, says her new consultancy specialises in podcast production and consulting, audio strategy, and branded storytelling.

“Deadset Studios leans in to the power of the human voice to share stories that resonate. It offers high-level strategic advice to media houses, brands, organisations, and producers to set them up for success in the podcast space,” says Kellie Riordan. “The consultancy advises podcasters on how to cut through with their content, maximise their audience growth, and we set clients up for success in the podcast space.”

Deadset Studios is also the home of the Pod Squad newsletter, a fortnightly podcast recommendation service that points listeners to the most innovative new podcasts in market.

Alongside the launch of Deadset Studios comes a brand new podcast from the production company, Curveball, a series about thriving when the chips are down.

In revealing, personal conversations with high-profile leaders, host Kellie Riordan uncovers how to tackle life’s toughest moments, and come out on top.
