Kayley Harris and Karl Faase to host 2CH’s Sunday Nights Open Line

Classic Hits 2CH has appointed veteran broadcaster Kayley Harris to anchor and co present Sunday Night Open Line.

In a new direction for the show, Kayley will be joined by Karl Faase, who is well known to the Christian community with his work in Christian media both in Australia and around the globe.

Sunday Night Open Line has long been a successful cornerstone for Classic Hits 2CH and with the departure of Aaron Wright, it has paved the way to introduce, for the first time a presenter duo with Kayley and Karl.

General Manager Classic Hits 2CH Cherie Romaro says, “The combination of Kayley and Karl will give audiences a safe, anonymous, environment to share their stories on life, love, hardships and challenges”.

Kayley says, “I’m really excited to be co-hosting the Open Line program. It is a chance for our listeners to lighten their emotional load. I like to listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully to others. We are living through difficult times and on Sunday night’s we’ll turn the airwaves over to our audience so they can tell us what’s worrying them, or what’s put a smile on their face”.

Karl says, “I am looking forward to joining the Classic Hits 2CH team and being part of the Sunday Night Open Line. Radio is so important for our listeners and even more so during the COVID-19 crisis where many find themselves separated from loved ones, and their community. Our aim is to build on the wonderful show that Aaron Wright has been championing, where our audience can connect, be informed and share our Christian spirit”.

In addition to Kayley Harris co-presenting Open Line, she has been appointed to present a special program Sunday Inspirations, a chance to shine a light on unsung heroes and untold stories that are making a difference in the world.

She will also continue to produce the weekday breakfast show.

Sunday Night Open Line 8:00pm -12midnight
Sunday Inspirations 5.30am -7:00am
