Kate Mac will return to her Perth roots on Nova 93.7 in Mornings, from Monday January 18th.
Kate is no stranger to the Perth airwaves – she presented Mornings & Afternoons on Nova up until 2012.
This time round, she will be playing fresh music and, in her own words, ‘much better at pressing the buttons.’
Kate’s a true local – she grew up in Perth, studied at Edith Cowan University and spends most of her time outdoors, at the beach.
She’s a yoga instructor and adrenaline junkie – bungee jumps, swimming with sharks, skydiving – you name it, she’s done it. And after living in the Caribbean, she still thinks WA beaches are better!
Along with her husband and ‘legendary’ sausage dog Rodney, Kate says she’s over the moon to be back on air at Nova for 2016:
“Being back in Perth at Nova 93.7 means I have a really supportive place where I can gather everything I’ve learnt over the past few years and hopefully apply it to be the best I can be. Deep, right?! I’m just really excited to be back to great people, great beaches and suburbs I actually know!”
Kate takes over from Dave McClung, who has been promoted to the position of Music Director and Assistant Program Director at Nova 93.7.
