Kate Langbroek reveals the importance of faith in A Life of Greatness

After the success of series one of PodcastOne’s, A Life Of Greatness, season two is set to launch with the premiere episode featuring a raw, intimate and emotional interview with Hit Network personality, Kate Langbroek, who shares her experience growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness, while discussing religion and the important role faith played during the most challenging time of her life; when her son Louis was battling leukemia.

“I thought I could no longer believe in a religion because I didn’t want to be a Jehovah’s Witness. But when Louis was sick like that, I had to find a faith beyond.

“From where, I don’t know because I didn’t have one to draw on except that it was inside me because I’m alive and I’m a person and I think that’s an innate part of all of us that we sometimes try and shut out ’cause it’s not cool or you think it has to come with a religion or a label. I had to go find that in me to continue.”

Over nine episodes, radio and podcast producer and host, Sarah Grynberg, shares the unique and individual stories from some of the world’s most respected and renowned experts in their fields, including global stem-cell biologist, Dr Bruce Lipton who is leading the way in epigenetics, who talks about the ability to rewire minds to no longer live as victims but as empowered beings and how to create better programming for children so they can live to their fullest potential.

Series two also features interviews with best-selling author of the 5 Regrets of the Dying and palliative care worker, Bronnie Ware, and Brendan Dassey’s lawyer from the Netflix blockbuster documentary Making a Murderer, Laura Nirider who talks about why false confessions in children are so prevalent, the fight for Brendan Dassey’s release and why making a difference in the world is so important.

NYT best-selling author Dr Joe Dispenza also returns, who delves deep into breaking away from the past to unlock someone’s full potential, different ways to raise emotionally balanced kids and how a simple shift in your thinking and the way you view yourself will change your life.

Grynberg hopes series two will challenge and inspire and says, “I feel so grateful for the knowledge and personal stories these people have shared with me, which I carry on using daily in my life. I feel absolutely humbled to be able to share their wisdom with everyone”.
