The Fifi and Jules show team were excited to announce to their listeners today that Jules and Anna Lund have welcomed a new baby girl to the world.

Indigo Ellen Duesk Lund weighed in at 8lbs after only a 2 hour labour.

Preparing for Indigo’s arrival has been a big part of the Fifi and Jules Show over the past few weeks, with Fifi accompanying Anna to her birthing classes.  

Just this week, Jules took to wearing a pregnant belly around the clock, a challenge from Fifi to help him understand that pregnancy is certainly not easy.

This morning Jules was forced to head home to recover from being ill after Fifi and Byron forced him, pregnant belly and all, onto a bucking bull after consuming a spread that included Red Bull, oysters and cheese. 

But it’s lucky he did, with Anna going into labor shortly after he arrived home.

Jules joined Fifi and Byron live on air at 5pm to announce the birth, with gurgling sounds from the crib marking Indigo’s on air debut.

Jules:  You know how you (Fifi) were birthing companion understudy?  It turns out I became one because I got my sister, the big guns in, and we delivered a baby in under 2 hours.  Anna’s smashed her PB… We have a little girl called Indigo!  And she’s just so magnificent, and Anna was an absolute trooper.

Fifi:  Do you think, that at any stage during this very quick rapid two hour delivery that my hypno-birthing exercises with Anna came into play and helped.

Jules:  Do you know what, it would have been absolutely brilliant to have you there, quite seriously you would have been a great companion.  But I know how it is, you can’t leave Byron by himself at the radio station, he’ll just end up stealing stuff out of the prize cupboard.
