Jase & PJ got 80,000 reasons to walk 43k with a giant pig

KIIS 101.1’s Jase & PJ walked 43 kilometres across Melbourne last week, with a giant inflatable piggy bank, to raise money Tessa Raskas, 26, who is fighting cancer, along with her mother and father who have also been diagnosed with cancer in the past five years.

After hearing that Tessa and her father, who is also fighting cancer, can’t work and her mother is their sole carer and was recently fighting her own battle with cancer, Jase & PJ wanted to do something to help relieve the financial burden faced by the Raskas.

To raise money for Tessa and her family, they set out on Wednesday from Airport West and continued their journey walking all day Thursday before finishing up at the Heathmont Jets Football Club on Friday where they broadcast their breakfast show live with Tessa and her family.

Jase & PJ and generous KIIS 101.1 listeners have raised $80,000 for Tessa and her family.
