Landcare is a non-profit organisation that exists through the outstanding work of thousands of volunteers around the country. Many of whom listen to your station.

The National Landcare Awards is a chance to say thanks to the communities, farmers, school kids, council groups and individuals who have worked so hard to help our land and environment.

Here’s your opportunity to make sure that the extraordinary efforts of the Landcare volunteers among your audience receive the recognition they deserve.

Jack Thompson is a pioneer for Landcare Australia and has recorded a 30 second CSA for the Landcare Awards.

All you have to do is give it as much airplay as you can between now and the strict closing date of your state:

– New South Wales and ACT off air Friday 25th April 2003
– Victoria / Tasmania / South Australia off air Wednesday 28th May 2003
– Queensland off air Friday 30th May 2003
– Western Australia off air Friday 13th June 2003
– Northern Territory off air Friday 27th June 2003.
