It’s K rock’s Geelong in the latest Xtra Insights survey

K rock (11.5) and bay 93.9 (10.1) have both made significant gains in the latest Xtra Insights survey for Geelong, moving past ABC Radio Melbourne (8.0) that was on top in the last survey for the area, which was conducted in November 2016.
 
K rock’s Fresh Daily with Tom & Loggy and Hayden & Milly (bay 93.9) also improved audience numbers in breakfast up 1.0 and 1.8 to move to 9.6 and 9.5 respectively.
 

The cumes show a huge improvement for the local stations, with K rock gaining almost 40,000 listeners for a total of 117,400 while bay 93.9 added 17,400 for a total of 101,800
 

The Breakfast cumes also show significant gains for the two local stations, with K rock adding 33,000 listeners for a total of 87,100 and bay 93.9 gaining 22,600 for a total of 74,400.
