Australia’s longest running weekly motor sports radio show marks two decades online.
On April 20th, Inside Motor Sport celebrates 20 years since it was first heard by an online audience.
The show was a forerunner in online audio content, predating podcasting by nearly a decade.
The program has provided racing fans worldwide with news and interviews hosted each week Craig Revell, Dave Langfield, Peter Norton and Paul Macpherson.
The relationship with US automotive website theautochannel.com allowed the show to be heard around the world, with audio available for download or streaming online.
To mark this milestone, the original 1998 programs have been converted to mp3 format and will be podcast and streamed at sportradio.com.au each week from 20 April until the end of 2018.
The shows relive Australian motor sport in the late 1990s, including Bathurst, the GT Production Championship, Rally Australia, and interviews with Peter Brock, Larry Perkins, Didier Auriol, Geoff Brabham, Possum Bourne, Cody Crocker, Craig Lowndes, James Courtney, Mark Webber and many more.
