Last Saturday January 23, Hot 91.1 staged the second biggest Fireworks display in Queensland.
 
With rides, sideshow alley, LIVE entertainment from Carl Wockner, Livi robins, Alys Ffion, Hoo8Hoo, Calais, Dan Horn, Matthew Barker Band and the East Coast Lows. There was the Ocean St Market Stalls, PLUS the RAAF had their biggest aircraft on display in a C-17 Globe master fly over. Hot 91.1 finished the night with two tonnes of Fireworks making it the second biggest Fireworks Display in Queensland next to Brisbane’s “Riverfire.”
 
Steve Hirst- Hot 91.1 General Manager , said “The McDonalds Sunshine Coast Skyshow event has become one of the major events on the Sunshine Coast through a mountain of work done by the team at Hot 91.1.
 
It’s a great way to thank all of our loyal Sunshine Coast listeners and give back to the community with such an awesome event.
 
It is also a great platform to showcase our talent, including the team from the Hot Breakfast, Sam Coward and Nerissa Pace who are having a huge impact on the Sunshine Coast.”
