Hobart radio ratings will be released today

Official radio survey results for Hobart will be released today, revealing the most listened to stations and radio shows in Tasmania’s capital.

Grant Broadcaster’s 7HO and SCA’s Hit100.9 and Triple M Hobart are the commercial radio stations serving the market.

The survey was conducted by Xtra Insights among 1200 respondents from 17 September to 6 October.

CRA’s CEO, Joan Warner, says “Hobart is a highly competitive radio market and the survey results provide valuable feedback to stations so they can keep improving their offerings.”

The results are being released ahead of the ACRA’s this weekend, with Hobart radio presenters nominated for key awards.

The Hit100.9 breakfast team Jimmy & Nath are in the running for the Best On Air Team award in the provincial category and morning presenter Mason Tucker has been nominated for Best Newcomer on Air.

Hobart is the 77th regional survey to be released since Commercial Radio Australia introduced a new system for regional radio ratings which allowed smaller radio markets to undertake more regular, reliable and cost-effective audience measurement.

The stations in Hobart serve a population of more than 228,000 people aged 10 and over.
