Over the past two weeks, Hitz 939 Bundaberg has been running a competition with a different guest co-host on the show for each of the 10 days while regular host Tracey has been away.

They’ve been involved in every part of the show from competitions, phoners and daily benchmarks, giving them the full experience of being involved in a breaky show.

Listeners have been given the chance to vote for their favourite guest co-host.

Hitz breakfast host Bryce said ‘It was a great experience, kind of like coaching a footy team that had never seen a ball before. If you ever have a co-host away, I definitely recommend having a bit of fun with this’.

​With none of the guest co-host’s having no radio experience at all, the station discovered some talent that could potentially be used on air if any of the announcers went away for a break again.
