Radio ratings have been released for the Queensland city of Bundaberg, with competition for audiences heating up since the last survey was released a year ago.

Hitz 93.9FM has jumped 5.3% to firm its position as the city’s number one radio station with 28.6% All People 10+.

Sea 93.1 shed 3.7% from last year’s survey, the first ever for Bundaberg to sit second with 18.3% and 4BU third with 16.5%.

 Another big gain for Hitz in breakfast up 4.5% to 28.6%.

Sea 93.1 is number with 19.1% while 4BU and ABC Wide Bay are equal third with 14.7%.

 The survey was conducted by Xtra Insights from 5-24 June with a sample size of 1,000 participants.
