Hit Network strengthens statewide programming with new appointments

The Hit Network today announced a series of producer appointments for its new statewide, community breakfast shows that were announced earlier this month.
 
The Show Producer appointments are:

  • Carley Whittington joins Cliffo and Gabi on the Queensland state breakfast show
  • Riley-Rose Harper joins Tim and Jess on the Victoria state breakfast show
  • Jorgia Pisani joins Allan and Michelle on the West Australian state breakfast show
  • Matt Lucas continues his role as Show Producer for Gawndy and Maz on the NSW state breakfast show.

 
In addition, there have been several announcer appointments for Hit’s local community division stations with its new 9.00am to 12 noon, locally-hosted workday shows across the country.

The new appointments are:

  • Albury – Tyson Witham
  • Atherton/Cairns – Mark Littler
  • Bendigo – Michael Billings
  • Coffs Harbour – Ben Stevenson
  • Emerald/Rockhampton – Ryan Bebbington
  • Griffith/Wagga – Dane McGuirk
  • Kingaroy/Roma – Emily Crawford
  • Mackay – Joel Dixon
  • Mareeba/Mt Isa – Cameron Hilder
  • Maryborough – Jason Coombes
  • Mildura – Pat Silcox
  • Orange – Carly Porch
  • Port Macquarie – James Preston
  • Shepparton – Josiah Shala
  • Toowoomba – Nik Stuart
  • Townsville – Mark ‘Chooky’ Edwards.

 
Hit Mt Gambier breakfast hosts Mitchell Tinley and Michael Ross will move back to their home state of Western Australia, joining Triple M’s remote breakfast show based in Bunbury.
 
Hit Network Assistant Head, Adrian Brine, said “These appointments will further assist in providing support for our new state breakfast shows and reaffirm our commitment to delivering live and locally-based workday shows across the Hit Community division,”.

... how can SCA claim "locally-hosted" when Cameron Hilder is covering "Mareeba/Mt Isa" which are over a thousand kilometres from each other?
