Historic apology leads to emotional radio interview

In what is believed to be a world first Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews will make a formal apology to homosexuals criminalised for their sexual preference under old laws.

This morning  KIIS 101.1 with Matt & Meshel, spoke with Tom Anderson, who at 14 was charged for homosexual behaviour, despite being the victim of a paedophile who was later jailed for his crimes.

Tom spoke with KIIS about the formal apology.

“I went before the Children’s Court, was told to plead guilty, apologise to the magistrate for what I had done, I received a 12 month Good Behaviour Bond and told never to engage in those kinds of perverted acts again…”, he said.

“To me it’s going to be a big acknowledgment that finally a formal apology, a formal statement saying that I did nothing wrong.
