Hills Radio wins best OB award

Small it might be but community Hills Radio 88.9FM has won the best in Australia for “Excellence in Outside Broadcasting:” at the recent CBAA awards. 

General Manager of Hills Radio, Chris Carpenter, says he was surprised to win the award “…up against the Mardi Gras 40th Anniversary Special and the Eltham Jazz, Wine and Food Festival. It just encourages me as well as the rest of our 70 plus and growing membership that we are on the right track and will continue to represent our growing Adelaide Hills community”.
 
The stations Big Outside Broadcast Bus, BOBB, was built with the financial support of The Lions Club of Mount Barker and the Mount Barker Rotary Club and has earned the station the reputation of a can-do radio station that totally engages with the community.
