Heidi, Xavier & Pete stop traffic with cheap fuel

hit92.9‘s breakfast show, Heidi, Xavier & Pete have literally stopped traffic with the help of Puma Energy Australia.

Last week Heidi, Xavier and Pete announced they were bringing back the 90’s and asked their listeners what they would most like to see, and the outstanding response was cheap fuel.

At 2pm Tuesday Puma Dayton and Puma Baldivis were announced live on air as the two locations dropping fuel prices to under $1 for 24 hours, from 6am Wednesday July 31 until 5.59am Thursday August 1.

It took only minutes for the first cars to arrive on site with thousands of vehicles lining up for 90’s petrol across both locations, snaking around the suburbs for hours well into the evening until the minute the clock ticked over to 5.59am.

hit929 content director, Tim Arnold, says “Heidi Xavier & Pete have been banging on about doing a 90’s show for a while now, and when they added in their idea about getting Puma on board with fuel at 90’s prices, we knew it was something Perth would definitely get around. They had wayyyy too much fun with it!”
