Harry Styles is sweet as Watermelon Sugar, reaching new peak at No.7: AirCheck

After spending 37 weeks on the airwaves, Harry Styles’ ‘Watermelon Sugar’ reached a high point this week at No.7 on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with 583 spins. The Nova network backed the track, accounting for 35% of the week’s spins, with Nova100 out in front adding 42 instances. Styles’ ‘Adore You’ dipped to No.32 this week, peaking at No.2 during April.

Brando’s reign at the top of the chart came to an end with Topic & A&S’ ‘Breaking Me’ leapfrogging ‘Look Into My Eyes’ with only 4 spins separating the two hits. While the same 22 stations played the track both last week and this week, Star 104.5 on the Central Coast made the biggest change in spins, from 8 spins last week to 29 this week.

Maroon 5 delivered new music to the chart this week with ‘Nobody’s Love’ landing at No.31 with 203 spins. KIIS1065 Sydney was well ahead of other stations, spinning the track 27 times, followed by Hit106.9 Newcastle and Hit 90.9 Gold Coast, both adding 19 instances.

Kylie Minogue was in at No.33 with her latest release, ‘Say Something’. Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox gave their support from the get-go with 21 spins, followed by B105 Brisbane and Hit106.9 Newcastle. The track was added by 16 stations, while it was the Hit network who spun the track first.
