Hadley settles out of court with Chris Bowen

2GB presenter Ray Hadley has settled out of court with his former panel operator Chris Bowen.

Bowen took legal action against Hadley for bullying after going public with his claims on Facebook last year.

Hadley subsequently apologised and has since reportedly changed his behaviour.

Bowen’s lawyer had not responded to radioinfo’s request for comment at the time of publication. It is believed the out of court settlement has confidentiality clauses.

In April this year Downing Centre District Court heard that Bowen was traumatised and suffered psychiatric injury from Hadley’s constant vilification and verbal abuse at work. His barister told the court that “On 20 occasions Mr Hadley called my client a bald, fat c***.”

Both parties now appear to want to put the issue behind them.
