GfK scores NZ survey contract

New Zealand’s commercial radio industry body the Radio Broadcasters Association has contracted GfK for its surveys starting 2016.

The announcement comes 6 months after RBA announced it would cease industry surveys while it browsed the market for companies that would provide enhanced surveying methods.

The GfK contract signals the end of RBA’s long term affiliation with TNS, the company that had provided them with survey data since 1991.

While surveys only take place twice a year in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington and annually in designated regional areas, GfK will research and report on the industry more frequently.

TNS will conduct Survey 2 2015 as contracted and will do so with a greater online focus than their previous surveys.
