Georgina Marckwald has been appointed to the role of 97.3FM’s Music Director and Morning Announcer.
Georgina worked casual on-air shifts for 97.3FM earlier this year before taking time off for the birth of her baby boy Louis.
97.3FM Content Director Barry Drinkwater said, “Georgina has carved out a very impressive career over recent years and we are delighted to be welcoming her back to ARN and the 97.3 Content team.”
Of her appointment, Georgina said, “I’m so excited to be back at 97.3! I’m very grateful to Duncan and Barry for giving me this opportunity. In a challenging year for us all, having my son Louis has made it a special one, and returning to 97.3 will be the icing on the cake.”
Georgina will begin her new role as Music Director on August 5, with her on-air role in studio to begin later in August.
