Fresh 92.7 is running a major fundraiser to update equipment

Adelaide community radio station Fresh 92.7 is running a major fundraising drive, Heart Beats 2020, to help replace and upgrade outdated and faulty equipment at the station.

Chairman of Fresh’s Board, Kat Leese, says, “…like many other not for profit organisations Fresh has taken a big hit this year due to COVID-19. Funds from the Heart Beats 2020 Fundraising Campaign will replace an outdated phone system that is being turned off in December, upgrade the studio and help with station running costs.”

Already the station has raised $5,000 from their ‘All Nighter At Home’ broadcast over the weekend that was developed through a partnership with veteran Adelaide music artist DJ JoSH, and streaming platform Ravine, as a way of providing local Adelaide DJ’s with paid work during a time when live gigs are scarce.

Take a walk through the studios with some of the Fresh team to see what they are up against.
