FIVEaa set to raise $100,000 for Variety SA

On Friday 21st August, Variety SA and FIVEaa will be launching the first ever Radiothon in South Australia.

For 10 hours straight live on air, the FIVEaa announcers will be working towards raising over $100,000 in much needed funds for South Australian children in need.

The Radiothon will give people the opportunity to bid on items live on air from an outstanding auction showcase including; a meet and greet with Ed Sheeran, a Swimming Pool package worth over $30,000 and a Fishing Trip with Patrick Dangerfield and FIVEaa Drive host Stephen Rowe.

The auction will begin at 7am in the FIVEaa Breakfast Show with David Penberthy, Mark Aiston and Jane Reilly and wrap at 5pm with Rowey and Bicks in the FIVEaa Drive Sports Show.

Variety CEO Mark McGill said “The auction list is amazing with many once in a life time opportunities so I am sure the broader community will respond bigheartedly. We are really grateful to all the team at Fiveaa for their generosity in providing an amazing platform for all South Australians to rally to the needs of these special children”

Neil O’Reilly NOVA Entertainment Adelaide General Manager says “We’re thrilled to be able to get behind such a wonderful initiative and support SA kids in need. We hope what we raise on the day will make a difference to support the many Variety SA programs.”
