The duo spread some Christmas cheer.

Last Thursday, Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa flew 120 listeners who had experienced a tough year up to the Gold Coast for some an early Christmas celebration.

Broadcasting from the Qantas Heritage Centre the breakfast team and nominated families took a VIP flight to Queensland. Beau Ryan surprised the families by joining them for breakfast at the broadcast.
 
Qantas staff donated their time, and the group spent a day at Movie World and before flying back into Sydney.
 
Wippa said : “Thanks Qantas another amazing effort from everyone involved. Special families & a very special day. Next year I’ll take on the roller coaster…” 

Fitzy added, “I just can’t believe how, through so much adversity, how resilient these Australian families are. The best part was seeing the smile on their faces, that moment is magic.”
