International superstar Taylor Swift confronted a sexual assailant and won her court case for sexual assault.

Ms Swift was groped by KYGO radio host David Mueller during an interview and photo shoot backstage at her June 2013 concert in Denver, Colarado. Mueller who claims to have lost his $150,000 a year job and has not worked since as result of what he said were her false claims, sued the artist for a reported $US 3 million in damages.

Swift countersued Mueller for assault and battery for just one single dollar. And, last week, with the aid of a photo that seems to have caught Mueller “red handed,” she won.

In asking for just $1; her attorney says that Ms Swift’s suit “will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts.”

If so, it has already worked with Fox FM’s Breakfast co-host Fifi Box who opened up on-air about an incident around 15 years ago when a “very high profile” male star, twice her age, who she refuses to name, “Sat in the studio and during the interview, he was touching me… reaching over and grabbing and stroking my leg… then grabbed my head and forced it down into his crotch. Actually rubbed my head in his crotch!”
