Ferrier joins the Rush Hour and Hogan is a legend

Dave Ferrier has been appointed mix94.5’s new host of The Rush Hour, officially starting Monday August 5th.
 
Dave comes home to Perth from 101.9 Fox FM in Melbourne where he was most recently anchor of Carrie & Tommy, plus producing & starring in a number of nationally syndicated shows, such as The Sunday Night Experiment on the Hit network.
 
Dave has had a diverse range of experiences in TV and digital, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, having appeared on SBS Viceland’s The Feed, ABC’s The Checkout and 7Mate’s video game show ScreenPLAY.
 
He’s also written articles and has had gag cartoons published in publications including The New Yorker, The Guardian and The Chaser Quarterly and publishes his cartoons on his Instagram account @davidferriercartoons
 
Head of mix94.5 & Triple M Content – WA, Erica McGee, says “Dave is the next rising star at SCA. A Perth boy, he supports all the right sporting teams, and will bring a new energy to afternoons on mix94.5”
 
Dave says, “My Mum, Dad and two older brothers are all in Perth. My brother Will and his wife Ash are about to become first time parents so I’m really excited to become favourite Uncle Dave. Also, my parents don’t know I’m coming home yet, I’m planning to surprise them – so no one tell my parents please!”

After a successful week filling in on The Rush HourPaul Hogan will be joining mix94.5’s Dead Set Legends for the remainder of the AFL season.
 
Paul is a sports nut with a long history at SCA, having hosted a national sports comedy show on the Triple M Network, as well as the KFC Cricket Show with Damien Fleming and The Sure Thing Horse Racing Show with Hamish McLachlan.
 
He has also created AFL videos for the Herald Sun and Super Footy websites, as well as working for two previous years as ground announcer at Fremantle Dockers home games, and was even the warm up guy for Channel 9’s Footy Show!
 
Paul’s debut alongside Adrian Barich and Tania Armstrong will be Saturday August 3rd.
