FBi Radio's new podcast ‘Notes From Home’

Wednesday 09 January, 2019

UPDATE: In its first full day of release this podcast has already reached number 15 in the iTunes music podcast chart.

Holly Doust-Robinson and Jonathon Tooke present 'Notes From Home', a weekly podcast taking listeners into the childhood homes of Aussie musicians and introducing them to one or both parents.
Each episode delves into a local musician’s upbringing, their communities, diverse families and influences, aiming to capture a snapshot of Sydney creative culture in 2019.

Episode One premiered on mornings with Eddy Diamond, and features Olive Rush of EGOISM and their mum, Heidi.
Set in their Marrickville home, they talk being bilingual, a family violin that's traversed wars and continents, growing up in the Sydney DIY music scene and playing gigs when you're underage.
In conjunction with the episode, each musician and their parent(s) have curated a Spotify playlist of music featured in their episode, as well as the songs that have shaped their musical journey.
