Fairlight will continue to trade with the Fairlight name after the formation of a new company headed by John Lanken.

Manufacturing of new products is expected to begin in this month after the finalisation of all outstanding business details.

Lanken says he is “excited to apply my experience to a company that not only do I love but also has been a huge part of my life.”

The new company was formed after in partnership with “four other passionate leading audio professionals and business partners throughout the world.”

The new company will ensure continuity in product development, support and manufacturing by retaining some of the old team.

Lanken soon expects to announce the availability of an entire suite of software upgrades for the ‘Dream’ family as well as for products such as ‘FAME/Prodigy’ and ‘MFX3.48’.
