This weekend The Em Rusciano Radio Show on the Hit Network is dedicating the entire program to mental health issues on the eve of Mental Health Week next month.

 
Em will talk with Dr Travis Kemp, a leading psychologist who brings an accessible approach to understanding mental health and illness and shares practical ways to breakdown stigmas to better understand the condition. Em will also be joined by Mark Pacitti from Dancing with the Black Dog, an organisation he started by sharing his own experiences in a quest to eradicate the shame and guilt felt by anxiety and depression sufferers across the world. Em will also talk with a parent she discovered via social media who shares her brave story.
 
Em says “I wanted to do a mental health episode of my radio show because I think it’s important to continue having open, honest and robust conversations around mental health, to shine light on it and to reassure anyone suffering from mental illness that they are not alone.”
 
Mental Health Week runs from Sunday 9 October and World Mental Health Day is Monday 10 October.
