Elves turn up the volume on Christmas music radio station as the big day approaches

As NORAD tracks a sleigh-like unidentified flying object leaving the North Pole, Christmas ratings figures for Elf Radio appear to have gone through the roof.

iHeartRadio has reported a sudden increase in streaming from servers in the Arctic, as a band of elves are reported to have turned up the volume on the station in an effort to motivate themselves for a last minute toy making rush.

Australia’s digital radio transmitters are expected to go into overdrive this weekend as listeners crank up the volume on their digital radios to hear the Christmas music pop up station.

At latest reports NORAD was tracking the UFO heading for islands in the Pacific Ocean on a course for Australia, some of the first places in the world to enter the Christmas Day timezone.
