Elton John joins Richard Wilkins on smoothfm

Sir Elton John will join smoothfm for two special shows from Sunday 14 February.

Elton John, one of the most highly acclaimed and successful solo artists of all time, will co-host two shows with Richard Wilkins from 4pm on Sundays.

Richard Wilkins said, “Elton is one of the most talented artists in music history, a brilliant songwriter, a superb vocalist and a dynamic performer. A true superstar! It is an honour to talk to him about his wonderful career, his colourful life and his new album.”

During the two special shows Elton John will give an insight into his life out of the spotlight, how his children have changed him and he discusses what it has been like being involved with managing James Blunt and Ed Sheeran. T

Throughout the last five decades Elton John has achieved 37 gold and 27 multi-platinum albums, sold more than 250 million records worldwide, and holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time.

His latest album ‘Wonderful Crazy Night’ is out now.

Elton John can be heard on smoothfm 95.3 Sydney, smoothfm 91.5 Melbourne and on smoothfm DAB+ on Sunday 14 and 21 February from 4pm.
